Objective

Support AHCSA in clearly communicating their State Election health priorities to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across South Australia. The videos needed to be culturally appropriate, direct, and motivating enough to drive community engagement with the election process.

Problems

The scripts needed to cover complex health policy ground without losing community accessibility. Balancing the authority of AHCSA as a peak body with a warm, community-first tone required careful scripting across three distinct video concepts.

Process

Stepney Studios worked with AHCSA across scripting and concepting for three video formats. Script 1 and Script 2 were structured as joint presentations between Nathan and Tanya, covering AHCSA’s six key election priorities including child development, justice health, housing, workforce, aged care, and mental health. Script 3 was a shorter, high-energy community call to action for Aboriginal staff, targeting both the SA State Election and the SA First Nations Voice to Parliament

Outcomes

Three polished, culturally informed video scripts ready for production, giving AHCSA a strong multi-format campaign to carry their election priorities across the community.

  • Script 1 – Election Option 1
  • Script 2 – Election Option 2
  • Script 3 – Multi-staff short video ‘Why to Vote’

I’ve worked with Stepney Studios on multiple projects, big and small, and they consistently deliver exactly what we’re looking for.

The team is fantastic - collaborative, energetic, and genuinely great to work with. It’s a partnership we truly value knowing we can rely on them for all our video needs.
