Working for themselves in South Australia and around the world capturing incredible content, Thomas and Cooper crossed paths in the creative scene, becoming fast friends over their love of video production and bad puns. With unique personalities and skill sets, Thomas and Cooper complement each other like avocado on toast.
With big goals and aligned passions, they built a team to bring the best results for their clients with specialists in editing, filming, admin, pitching, and planning. These incredible creatives are the well-oiled machine behind Stepney Studios.

Cooper has over a decade of experience in the music and film industry, taking him across the world multiple times. He’s managed and created for some of the biggest names in both industries, and he brings that wealth of knowledge to his work at Stepney Studios. He is always calm under pressure and can be counted on to get the job done – no matter what it takes.

Thomas has always had a keen eye for detail. This, combined with his natural talent for storytelling, led him to pursue a career in video production. Whether it’s a short film or a corporate interview, Thomas loves bringing stories to life through video. He works closely with our clients to ensure consistency with every project. He loves a good challenge and he’s always willing to put in the extra effort to get the job done right.

Marketing Manager

Alex is our guru in charge of socials, marketing materials and website, providing value across video strategy for clients and marketing Stepney Studios to our perfect clients. With experience on-camera winning Season 1 of The Traitors Australia, hosting a TV travel show; Discover with RAA Travel, Alex’s wealth of experience shows in her work ethic and knowledge. A long way from her first days as a marketing jack-of-all-trades for a local shoe store!

Chris
Colourist / Resident DIT
Get to know them
Apart from being the office-dog Dad that we didn’t know we needed, Chris is a jack-of-all-trades at Stepney. Starting as a freelance filmmaker after high school and spending the last five years in feature films and scripted TV as a technician in the camera department, Chris specialises in digital systems management and image processing (DIT). As our colourist, post-production supervisor and workflow specialist both on-set and in the editing bay, his eye for detail is unmatched.
