But, there are some very exciting updates that we’d love to share with you all. Starting with…
Our Website
This brand new website that you’re currently on has been a big project, with the aim to make our services more accessible, previous projects easier to find and also a space to host our thoughts, news, and fun stuff too.
We love it. And we’d love to thank the geniuses over at Studio Sondar for their attention to detail. If you ever need a website, please head to them!
New Team
We’ve got some brand new faces here at Stepney this year, Isaac, Alex and Ally.
We’re confident you’ll love working with them as much as we do. If you haven’t already been introduced. Isaac and Ally are very competent video editors and animators in their own right, there’s ways they can work a computer that still astound us every day. Your Post-Production is in very safe hands.
And Alex is an all-round marketing expert, with experience in (and on!) TV shows, behind the camera, as well as within marketing roles professionally, she’s got a world of experience. Our marketing strategy, concepting and planning, as well as our own marketing benefits as a result. Especially within social-first content.
New Construction

The expansion of our facilities brings us more opportunity for edit and filming space for Corporate work, Podcasts, Sit-in edits with us, as well as a space for you to work in when you’ve engaged Stepney for a project.
New Mural
A massive thank you to Hari Koutlakis for creating our Stepney Studios mural!
Hari is a (very) local Adelaide movement-based abstract artist who has woven the flow of his capoeira techniques into this incredible artwork.
When we set out to create a mural for our wall, we wanted to emulate what we do in a static form – and it also helped that Hari is our neighbour! Incorporating Hari’s abstract movement into the shape of the Stepney Studios ‘S’ was a perfect way to communicate that we capture movement (video) on screen.
We thank Hari for the hard work, we love looking at this every day!
New Projects
We’re thrilled to be able to finally post about some projects from late last year, starting with four projects in one for EC Carpets. Check out the case study here. This local SA company approached us with quite a few nice-to-have projects, and we managed to organise, shoot and deliver them all within the one project scope. Also we now know exactly how carpets are made, and boy is it a detailed process.
And, a super exciting branding project for the Australian Institute of Business, focusing on their MBA program. Check it out here. This dynamic hero video featured some special VFX work, detailing a world of working within their MBA program in just a few seconds. We loved working with the AIB team, researching and providing creative solutions to fit their project brief, and can’t wait for what’s to come.
