We partnered with Ascent to create a high-impact suite of recruitment and brand videos that would attract talent across their graduate, veteran, and engineering pathways. The content needed to work seamlessly across web, social, events, and onboarding, while authentically showcasing Ascent’s people, culture, and values.
Ascent had strong internal stories that needed to be shared through professional content that reflected the strength of their employer brand.
Their challenge was two-fold:
Create a flexible content library that could be tailored for graduates, veterans, and women in defence.
Ensure every asset aligned with their people-first approach without falling into the trap of generic “corporate” video.
Pre-Production:
We worked closely with Ascent’s marketing team to design a detailed production calendar across Adelaide, Canberra, and Melbourne. This included call sheets, shoot schedules, crew logistics, and flight coordination.
Production:
Across four filming days, we captured interviews and b-roll across divisions, environments, and teams. Each shoot included tailored photography alongside video capture, ensuring a consistent library of assets.
Post-Production:
Our editors crafted a full suite of deliverables — from 90-second company profile films and looping event videos to graduate program series and short-form social clips. Each video was refined with Ascent’s feedback to ensure brand alignment and recruitment impact.
From strategy to screen, Stepney Studios delivered a rich content library that brought Ascent’s culture to life. The result was an adaptable content ecosystem that strengthens Ascent’s recruitment strategy, enhances onboarding, and builds long-term trust with both employees and industry partners.
Core Video Suite: Company profile film, three division videos (Land, Maritime, Aerospace), CorroVision and AeroATLAS content, plus 15+ social-first interview clips.
Recruitment-Focused Series: Graduate program videos, veterans transitioning to civilian careers, and women-in-defence stories.
Onboarding & Culture Assets: Welcome videos and long-form culture films for new starters and internal use.
Photography: A brand-aligned image library captured across all locations.
